Just a short intermezzo in this blog …

Just to reserve this acronim, TEAM which means “Talk Enough Action More”. Just a seconds before I wrote this, I try to search that word “Talk Enough Action More” (with the double-quotes) using Google, and found NO result …

Just to make a test, if the searching after this for that sequence is linking to this blog :) In my opinion, that acronim and wording are much better than “Talk Less Do More” ones which is currently used to fight with “No Action Talk Only / NATO” ones … Why? Because the meaning of “Talk Enough Action More” is highly related to the word TEAM.

So … enjoy this new “TEAM” - Talk Enough Action More …

Bagi rekans yang bekerja di bidang yang sering berurusan dengan file teks, kemungkinan besar sudah tidak asing lagi dengan yang namanya scripting tools. Salah satu scripting tools yang paling sering saya gunakan adalah Perl. Akhir-akhir ini, saya juga lumayan sering pake PHP karena kemudahan yang ditawarkannya untuk koneksi ke database.

Everyone who work with a text files off course very familiar with a scripting tools. I use Perl as my daily scripting tools. Sometimes, I also use PHP because of its database connectifity features.

Satu hari Sultan merasa sungguh “boring n bete abis”, jadi dia tanya Bendahara, “Bendahara, siapa paling pandai saat ini?” … “Abunawas” jawab Bendahara. Sultan pun manggil Abunawas n baginda bertitah : “Kalau kamu pandai, coba buat satu cerita seratus kata tapi setiap kata mesti dimulai dengan huruf ‘J’.

Dalam berbagai kesempatan di beberapa forum, saya selalu menulis bahwa “SL45 is the best accident ever made in the GSM industry”, karena dalam keyakinan saya, SL45 dibuat dengan fitur yang “terlalu lengkap”. Dia adalah sebuah “kesalahan” desain, yang kalau semua kemampuannya dikeluarin, dia malah akan “memakan” beberapa seri yang dikeluarkan sesudahnya.

In some forum, I always wrote that SL45 is the best accident ever made in the GSM industry, because I believe that SL45 has been build with too complete features. It is a technical design mistake, and if all of its capability is explored, it will kill some of new phone series.

Setelah hampir 5 tahun senantiasa menemani keseharian saya, tiba juga saat dimana saya dengan terpaksa berpisah dengan SL45 yang fenomenal itu. Problem utamanya adalah “low battery”. Kirain battery-nya drop, ternyata setelah diganti dengan yang baru pun, 1 atau 2 kali dipake nelepon, langsung koit. Problem di firmware? Ternyata, dengan dibalikin ke firmware yang masih “perawan” pun, problem itu masih saja muncul … :(

After 5 years used in my daily activities, it is a time to say good by with my lovely SL45. My main problem is the low battery. I just think that the battery goes weak, but even after I change it with the new ones, the problem is still exists. I can only use it for 1 or 2 calls, and after that it suddently dead. Firmware problem? I did try to reflash it with the virgin ones, but still …
